North Kent Marshes Wildlife & Countryside Fair
RSPB Northward Hill hosts the second North Kent Marshes Wildlife and Countryside Fair on Sunday 5th September from 12 noon until 6pm. Organised by RSPB in association with Friends of the North Kent Marshes and local communities, parking and admission are free and included in the many attractions are an optics from The Lodge shop, pond dipping, mini-beast safaris, owl pellet dissection, self-guided walks; bar, barbeque and refreshments and over 50 stalls, plus a chance to find out about RSPB plans for the North Kent Marshes reserves at Cliffe Pools, Northward Hill, Elmley Marshes and Capel Fleet. The weather looks set to be fine and with any luck the pectoral sandpiper and great white egret at Cliffe will stick around to add a little extra to the day!
