Boobies, Peckers and Tits

The Publisher’s View: Boobies, Peckers and Tits: One Man’s Naked Perspective documents Olaf’s epic quest, which combined seeing as many species of birds In one year…while he was nude.

Called “wickedly extraordinary,” the never-to-be-forgotten tales range from being shot at in Texas to a heart-stopping chase by a grizzly bear in Yellowstone, all while trying his best to avoid arrest. Described by Olaf as containing “rampant nudity”, Boobies, Peckers and Tits as also a story filled with a love and respect for nature and family as well as the realization that, with the passing of each day, now is the time to start that life quest.

The Author: Olaf Danielson was born and raised in the small northwestern Wisconsin town of Falun, a town named for Falun, Sweden, where all of the first settlers originated. Olaf grew up amid the stories and folklore of Sweden, and some of that folklore can be found in his Defenders of the Earth Series. His interests in world history, bird watching, and travel have guided him on a somewhat nomadic lifestyle that greatly enhance his stories.

Olaf attended Ripon College, where he graduated summa cum laude, and received his doctorate at the University of Minnesota. Licensed to practice medicine in five states, Olaf now runs a successful emergency room staffing business.  He currently lives in the northeastern South Dakota town of Milbank with his very tolerant wife, three children, and a house full of pets.

Fatbirder View:This is not a new book that one I missed and it has a title that meant I just had to read it. Basically, it’s really a ‘Big Year’ account, the one difference being that the participants don’t have, pants that it. It’s a good-natured account that is fairly engaging. I can’t rave about it as ‘big years’ are so much better to do than they are to read about. I enjoyed the book, but not as much as I enjoyed some other big year’s and the nudist bit leaves me cold… and, before I really get stuck into all the potential puns I’ll leave it at that… the bare facts are above.
